gifts for baby boys What can I get this person for a baby gift?
My brothers boss is going to have her baby soon. Money is really tight for her, her husband is going to have brain surgery after the baby is born. He already has a child, she’s either 4 or 5.
Anyway, this small girl is coming quickly and my brother wants to get her a gift. If it was a normal situation, I would go with some cute clothing. But I was just wondering what do you reckon?
My brother place me in charge of the baby gift. What can I say, he’s a 16 year ancient boy. Haha.
I want to keep it practical because money is tight. Any thoughts?
(My brother is giving me $20 or $30.)
Thanks a lot!

maybe a gift basket of supplies, practical things that she will need, like diapers, diaper cream, wipes, face cloths, bath wash, lotion.

I would just buy diapers in size one. Or give a gift card to target or walmart. People usually get way too many clothes when they have a baby and most of them don’t get warn more than once so I say diapers are more practical.

Essentials like diapers, lotion, baby wash, or even a gift card to wal-mart or target… somewhere where they shop alot.

Another excellent thought would be a gift card to a take out restaurant, or one that delivers… after having a baby and a husband that had surgery, cooking will be the last thing on their minds..

You could also wait until after the baby is here and the surgery is over and make dinner or sandwiches or something that can be refrigerated and reheated easily and take it over there… or offer to cut the lawn for a week or two following the birth and surgery

Sometimes a small task can be a world of help

Have your brother question her what she needs. Otherwise, like the other’s have already mentioned, get some Pampers Swaddlers size 1 diapers, Johnson’s baby wash, and/or baby wipes. Those are the things that you go through the most with a newborn and that can really add up money-wise.

With 30 bucks you can buy a jumbo pack of diapers at Target and just so it looks cuter, get some ribbon and make a baby diaper cake.
Or just buy one

I’m normally not a fan of diaper cakes…but they make a box of diapers…seem a whole lot cuter if that’s what you’re getting.

Or you can always go to Kohl’s or Target and get some newborn or 0-3 month clothes…they’re tiny and cheap.

Honestly I remember the BEST gifts being the practical things that you’d use for the baby! It was fun to get all the extra stuff BUT then you are left having to get all the necessities. And larger sized diapers are always helpful since babies grow so quick! Maybe a diaper cake with some basic essentials. Or gift cards are always FANTASTIC b/c you can go buy whatever you don’t get from a shower!!

a giftcard to target i knopw will help aload. it did with me
